Vegas Part Deux

Day two in Las Vegas included being very hungover, laying by the pool, and walking the strip. We all met for dinner and went out for some drinks.

One of the reasons I have come to love Vegas is for the people-watching. You can wear the craziest outfit and it never fails, there will always be someone to upstage you. You can get dressed in the dark and you will blend right in. So, one of my favorite activities is getting a table on the patio at Mon Ami Gabi and watching all the interesting people walk by. It is great inspiration and entertainment at the same time.

I love when what you pack ends up working perfectly with the occasion. That was definitely the case for my day two outfit. I wore a blouse that I am obsessed with from Mango for JC Penney that goes with everything and is super flattering. I layered on a faux fur vest for some fun and added texture. The skirt has become one of my new favorite pieces with the mixture of navajo inspired beading, pretty embroidery, mixed with some sparkle. I love how eclectic it is. How fun is the irony of the 'BLANC' clutch? (which is actually a make-up bag) I finished it off with some neutral wedges to keep it tonal.

It is definitely key to balance out how much skin you show. If you wear a mini skirt, wear longer sleeves. If you go sleeveless or show cleavage, go for length. It is important to leave a little to the imagination..even in Vegas ; )
