Girly Grunge

The trick to trends is to translate them into your own personal style. If you don't follow those 4 T's, you run the risk of looking like everyone else and losing yourself in the process.

We love this look because it combines the ever faux paus of wearing white after Labor Day and the popular grunge trend.

Firstly--White. The world of fashion has evolved in such a way that rules no longer apply. Your shoes don't have to match your bag; you can mix gold with silver, the list goes on and on... So if you want to wear white all year round, do it! Even better, wear white head to toe!
The end result will be super crisp and extra chic, trust us.

Secondly--Grunge. This is a trend that needs to be taken lightly. Add touches, don't go all out or you could look like you just rolled out of a dumpster. We love this look because it channels the grunge trend with the plaid shirt tied around the waist, but it is a subtle plaid and it is monochromatic. Also, the destruction is focused just at the knees and not "sporadic".
Cher Horowitz would be proud.
