Frigid Fundamentals

Here in Fargo, we have been experiencing some frigid weather. This winter, like many others before, has been so kind to gift us with below zero temperatures. If you have ever traveled to the Midwest, you know what polar feels like. Therefore, I put together a guide of pieces you must own to survive in the winter months, while still being snow chic.

1. Cashmere Hat: Hats are such a great accessory to add, and this one keeps you warm as well. The faux fur pom pom is a must.
2. Coat: A coat is an obvious final layer, but the warmth level of the coat is crucial. Canada Goose makes one of the warmest coats I've tried.
3. Scarf: Bundling up with a scarf will keep you extra warm, make it a faux fur scarf and you will be extra chic.
4. Gloves: I prefer gloves over mittens just because they are easier for me to work with. If the gloves have touch screen finger tips you have an extra bonus because you won't have to take your gloves off to use your phone.
5. Boots: If you want to keep your toes warm, Sorel is the boot for the job. They have never failed me and this pair is super sleek.
6. Sweater: There's nothing better than cozying up with a warm, chunky sweater. I love the tall turtleneck on this one.
